WYJO perform Saratoga Springs

The award-winning Wigan Youth Jazz Orchestra have been performing Ed’s latest composition ‘Saratoga Springs’ in their recent gigs at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Wigan Jazz Festival. At the Wigan Jazz Festival the band were joined by star Australian multi-instrumentalist James Morrison, who chose to play trombone on Saratoga Springs!

Following the success of Saratoga Springs, WYJO have asked Ed to write a suite to celebrate the centenary of Gil Evans’ birth. Performances of this major new work are being organised for the end of 2012 and full details will appear on this site so keep an eye out for gigs near you.
