"Sting in the tail" is the third and final movement of Ed Puddick's "Gil Evans Suite" which was commissioned by the Wigan Youth Jazz Orchestra in 2012. This funky chart was inspired by Gil's later with pop artist such as the singer Sting in the 1980s.  A video of the Wigan Youth Jazz Orchestra performing this chart is available on YouTube.
